Panasonic connectors for wearable devices

Compact, slim and low-profile connectors like Panasonic R35 and R35K series are suitable for wearable devices (smartwatches, hearing aids and headphones) These connectors have 0.6mm mated height, slim width (1.7mm for R35 and 1.3mm for R35K). Small pitch like 0.35mm. Small sizes are plus point for wearable devices which has space constraints. As wearable devices have built in battery, the ability to handle to high current for charging is another favourable factor. R35 and R35K connectors have power terminals can handle high current (5A for R35 and 3A for R35K). Beside power terminals, these connectors also have signal terminals. R35K has 4 to 6 signal terminals (Example for board to battery connection) . R35 connector on the hand has more signal terminals (10-60), it is suitable for Board-to-board connector and board-to-FPC connection. Beside R35 and R35K connectors, Panasonic also have other connectors and tact switches suitable for smart wearable devices.
