TLP170AM(TPL,E(T is a photo relay. It consists of an infrared LED coupled to a photo-MOSFET. This photo relay has higher output current rating than phototransistor-type photocoupler; hence, it is suitable for use as On/Off control for high current. It is approved by UL-recognized: UL 1577, File No.E67349 cUL-recognized: CSA Component Acceptance Service No.5A File No.E67349, VDE-approved: EN 60747-5-5. It is used in applications such as security systems, factory automation (FA), measuring instruments, I/O interface boards, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), mechanical relay replacements.
