General Purpose Film Capacitor, Metallized PP, Radial Box - 2 Pin, 1 uF, ± 10%, 84 V, 450 V
ECWFE2W105K is an ECWFE series metallized polypropylene film capacitor. It features non-inductive construction using metallized polypropylene film with flame retardant plastic case. Recommended applications are active filter circuit, high frequency circuit. It is capable of withstanding vibrations better than a standard dipped type film capacitors. The polypropylene dielectric provides better electrical characteristics than polyester and the built-in fuse functionality allows the ECWFE series to open upon failure rather than short circuit. Currently rated for 450VDC applications, this film capacitor is essential for power supplies, PFC, and other applications where vibrations are a subject of concern.
