NCV8182CDTRKG is a NCV8182C monolithic integrated low dropout tracking regulator designed to provide an adjustable buffered output voltage that closely tracks the reference input. The output delivers up to 250mA while being able to be configured higher, lower, or equal to the reference voltages. It has been designed to operate over a wide input and VREF/EN operating voltage range while still maintaining excellent DC characteristics. It also can withstand load dump transients and reverse polarity input voltage transients. This makes it suitable for use in automotive environments. It is used to provide the input voltage as a reference for the output and it also can be pulled low to place the device in sleep mode. Typical applications are engine and transmission control units, comfort controls, infotainment, sensors, local controls, tire pressure monitors, machine controls, switch and sensor readings, and operator interface control.
