FODM1007R2 is a FODM100x series single channel, DC sensing input, optocoupler consisting of one gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared light emitting diode optically coupled to one phototransistor, in a stretched body SOP 4-pin package. The input-output isolation voltage, VISO, is rated at 5,000VACRMS. It has = 8mm creepage and clearance distance, and = 0.4mm insulation distance to achieve reliable and high voltage insulation. Typical applications are primarily suited for DC-DC converters, ground loop isolation, signal-to-noise isolation, communications adapters, chargers, consumer – appliances, set-top boxes, industrial – power supplies, motor control, and programmable logic control. Safety and regulatory approvals are UL1577, 5,000 VACRMS for 1 min, DIN-EN/IEC60747-5-5, 890 V-peak working voltage.

• Extended industrial temperate range from -40 to 110°C
• Current transfer ratio at IF = 5mA, VCE = 5V, TA = 25°C
• Maximum working insulation voltage is 890Vpeak

• Forward voltage is 1.4V typical (IF = 50mA, TA = 25°C)
• Reverse current is 10µA maximum (VR = 4V, TA = 25°C)
