The TLP2108 consists of GaAlAs light emitting diodes and integrated high-gain, high-speed photodetectors. The TLP2108 is housed in the SO8 package. The photo detector has a totem-pole output stage that can source and sink current.
The photo detector has an internal Faraday shield that provides a guaranteed common-mode transient immunity of ±10 kV/μs. The TLP2108 provides an inverting logic output.
