This internal Mini-SAS High Density connector system is the next generation SAS system, with 1X1 (4x), 1X2 (8x) and 1X4 (16x) port options to provide the double port density over the existing Mini-SAS connector and provide faster data rate and more bandwidth for end users. The Mini-SAS HD connector system has a two-row, right-angle connector with 12Gbps of data rate per channel. Each connector (port) handles 4 lanes of data rate for up to 48Gbps of total bandwidth.
