The Xilinx LogiCORE DisplayPort® interconnect protocol is for transmission of serial-digital video up to 5.4Gbps for Consumer and Professional Displays. DisplayPort is a high-speed serial interface standard supported by industry leaders in consumer electronics HDTV, PC laptop and PC monitors. This protocol is considered a successor to VGA and DVI standards with support for video resolutions greater than (>4Kx2K) video and adds audio. DisplayPort offers a smaller design, two-way interaction, improved signal integrity, reduced EMI with a high bandwidth interconnect. The DisplayPort LogiCORE IP is designed to the VESA DisplayPort v1.2 specification. DisplayPort LogiCORE IP supports UltraScale and 7-Series.
