Connecting the Internet of Things

Mixed Media - AAC202204S1

LoRa® is a wireless communication technology developed to create the low-power, wide-area networks (LPWANs) required for machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Based on the STM32WL, the module reference design targets IoT applications that require LoRa or proprietary connectivity with operating frequency range from 865 to 930 MHz.

The STM32WL MCU series is the world’s first LoRa®-enabled System-on-Chip. The STM32WL is fully open and supports multi-modulwwation, making it the ideal choice for LPWAN and IoT developments with outstanding ultra-low power consumption without compromising on performance.

The solution is specifically designed for direct connection to battery power source and sensors to realise a low power and low cost application. The antenna feed is made available at the module's edge connectors.

Avnet offers a complete end-to-end LoRaWAN® eco-system support from sensor, gateway, network and application server support.
