Designed to meet the growing demands of EV systems and smart energy metering, the BLEWB05D42 Bluetooth® Low Energy Module delivers exceptional wireless performance in a miniature form factor. Combining high efficiency, low power consumption, and robust connectivity, it is compliant with Bluetooth® SIG core specification version 5.4 and supports both Bluetooth Mesh networking and 2.4 GHz proprietary protocols, making it ideal for next-generation Internet of Things (IoT) applications that demand reliability and precision.


At its heart, the BLEWB05D42 is powered by an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ 32-bit processor running up to 64 MHz, ensuring fast responsiveness without compromising on power consumption. Designed for low-power operation, the module functions seamlessly within an operating voltage range of 3.0V to 3.6V, making it well-suited for battery-powered and energy-sensitive designs. Despite its compact size of 25 × 13 mm, it offers impressive wireless performance with programmable output power up to +8 dBm and receiver sensitivity reaching -97 dBm, ensuring strong and stable connectivity even in challenging environments.

But performance is only part of the story. The BLEWB05D42 has been engineered for simplicity and flexibility. An integrated discrete balun and harmonic filter minimise external component requirements, while the on-board PCB antenna streamlines product design. Multiple interfaces including UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter), GPIO (General-Purpose Input/Output), and SWD (Serial Wire Debug) make it convenient to integrate into a wide range of applications, from automated building systems to remote monitoring networks.
