Terminal block connector is used to connect wires together or to connect wires to printed circuit boards or pieces of equipment. Usually the terminal block has a clamping mechanism that allows for the easy removal of the wires. This is useful for troubleshooting, reconfiguration and maintenance. Terminal blocks also help prevent current leaks and short circuits, as well as increase insulation.
