A solid-state relay (SSR) is an electronic switching device which uses electrical and optical properties of solid state semiconductors for I/O isolation and switching functions. These relays do not contain moving components such as coil, spring etc. These SSR Relays are designed to switch both AC and DC currents by using SCR, TRIAC or Transistors.
