Magnetoresistive Sensors

Magnetoresistance is the tendency of a material to change the value of its electrical resistance in an externally-applied magnetic field. Magnetic sensors detect changes or disturbances in magnetic fields that have been created or modified by objects or events. The magnetic fields carry information on properties such as direction, presence, rotation, angle, or electrical currents which is then converted into an electrical voltage by the magnetic sensor.
