Battery Chargers
Battery chargers are devices used to put energy into a secondary cell or rechargeable battery by forcing an electric current through it. Battery charger ICs are offered in linear or switching topologies and are completely autonomous in operation. They can also be utilized with a microcontroller. They are used for charging more than one cell lithium-ion, NiCd, NiMH, lead-acid battery packs, and other battery chemistries.
