Gates & Inverters

A logic gate is an idealized or physical device implementing a Boolean function. It performs a logical operation on one or more binary inputs and produces a single binary output. A logic gate exists in the hundreds of millions in every modern computer, and forms the building blocks for all of the operations performed by processors and memories.
