Racks & Cabinets

Racks are standardized frames or enclosures which organize and store multiple electronic equipment modules. Each side has edges and ears which allow the module to be fastened to the rack frame with screws. Cabinets consist of four post racks enclosed by front/rear, sides, panels, and tops which are used for mounting electrical or electronic equipment. They are specified by the size of boards being inserted, i.e. a 9U rack would house a 9 inch board.
