TRS & TRRS Connectors - Tip/Ring/Shield

These are telephone connectors that are electrical connectors used for analog audio signals. TRS or Tip Ring Sleeve connectors have three conductors and can be used with mono balanced connections and stereo unbalanced connections at the microphone level, line level or speaker level. TRRS or Tip Ring, Ring Sleeve connectors have four conductors and can be used with stereo unbalanced audio with video, or with stereo unbalanced audio plus a mono microphone conductor.
