Isolation Amplifiers

An isolation amplifier measures the voltage between two terminals while maintaining a physical barrier between the test points and the terminal at which the measured voltage is presented. It allows measurement of small signals in the presence of a high common mode voltage by providing electrical isolation and an electrical safety barrier.
