The MC7812CD2TR4G is a 1A positive voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-263 package. This voltage regulator is monolithic integrated circuit designed as fixed voltage regulator for a wide variety of applications including local, on-card regulation. It employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe-area compensation. With adequate heatsinking it can deliver output current in excess of 1A.
