EMI8143MUTAG

EMI8143MUTAG is a common mode filter (CMF) with integrated ESD protection in a 16 pin XDFN package. Differential signaling I/Os can now have both common mode filtering and ESD protection in one package. The EMI8141 protects against ESD pulses up to ±15KV contact per the IEC61000-4-2 standard. The EMI8141 is well suited for protecting systems using high-speed differential ports such as USB 3.0, MIPI D-PHY; corresponding ports in removable storage, and other applications where ESD protection are required in a small footprint package. Typical applications include USB 3.0, MHL 2.0, SD card, eSATA, HDMI/DVI display in mobile phones and MIPI D-PHY (CSI-2, DSI, etc) in mobile phones and digital still cameras.

• Reverse working voltage of 3.3V
• Maximum breakdown voltage is 9V at 1mA
• Channel leakage current is 1µA
• Total insertion loss DMLOSS < 2.5dB at 2.5GHz
• Large differential mode cutoff frequency f3dB > 5GHz
• High common mode stop band attenuation: > 10dB at 500MHz, 15dB at 700MHz
• Low channel resistance is 6ohm
