The LUSB-A111-00 is a standard USB Connector with 30µinch gold (0.76 microns) over nickel plated phosphor bronze contacts, UL94V-0 black high temperature thermoplastic housing and nickel-plated brass alloy shell. The LUSB series USB connector uses a push pull interface with no latching. It relies on the design of the mating interface and the ground tabs to maintain the connection of the plug to the receptacle. Currently there are applications in a number of markets where vibration and inadvertent separation of the cable is a potential problem due to loss of data when the mated interface is accidentally broken. The latch must be intentionally raised in order to remove the plug.
