Should you chemically or thermally strengthen your glass display cover lens?

Durability and safety considerations require the glass to be strengthened (hardened), using either chemical or thermal processes. Chemical hardening is possible with all glass, while thermal hardening is only available for thicknesses up to 3 mm.
