Deep learning on the move

The demand for autonomous driving and autonomous embedded products is growing rapidly. Along with this growth is increasing importance of deep learning development, of which UltraZ AD provides the perfect platform. Containing 2 sets of Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC by Xilinx, the board can be deployed for autonomous driving tests or embedded into autonomous controlled robots. They can be used for object recognition, space recognition, and route searching algorithm. 

The massive (288KB) Ultra RAM and wide bandwidth DDR4 SDRAM(w/ECC) on XCZU11EG/XCZU7EV can support algorithm development which enables quick response in neural network image processing. Various components can be mounted on the UltraZ Ad as well. The first is the H.264/265 Video Encoder/Decoder which allows 4K/2K 60 fps video stream codec. Then there are the 2 port FMC HPC connectors to enable high resolution as well as quick capture of the car’s surroundings, Not to mention the industry standard PCIe Gen3.0 x4 lane, USB3.0,10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, CAN2.0B and HDMI that can connect it to various evaluation needs via the car interface and PC etc.
