Step 1 – Design

Our team of engineers and certified experts in our partners’ hardware and software solutions work with you in consultation to fully understand your project, customers and business goals. We then design a custom solution that draws on all the Avnet Integrated services that may add value to your business for you, and in terms of the customer experience you’ll be able to create.

Because our partners have developed industrial hardware, software and components we can offer technology specifically designed for embedded installations which is longer lasting, more secure, robust and solves the problem of frequent updates which can destabilize an embedded system.

Step 2 – Integration

Through our purpose-built facilities in Europe and America, we can combine the individual elements of your server system to build, test and supply a final solution. This includes loading the operating software, your own software if applicable and testing the integrated products to ensure a smooth and safe customer experience.

Our highly flexible production facility enables us to more easily change the build process to facilitate updates or smaller runs if required. By changing the Build Instruction documents for you we can ensure the same build quality at every stage – whether it’s a software upgrade or swapping out of a minor component.

Step 3 – Inventory Solutions

As a global distributor, holding stock is a core capacity of Avnet. Because we can hold stock on your behalf, or on behalf of your customers, you don’t need to, freeing up your cashflow. Our distribution network enables us to supply stock globally as required and replenish stock as it’s being used. This can be matched to your sales forecasting for extra accuracy. We also have a range of logistics and supply chain solutions which can be leveraged for extra support.

Step 4 – Extra services and value

When your products and applications are in the field, we can provide support in a number of ways. This could be direct support in the form of onsite maintenance, or services offered remotely. We can offer return to depot repairs which help to support your customer SLAs and despatch replacements immediately while the repair unit is being fixed.

Our advanced exchange program can be valuable by helping predict when your customers will need replacement items, shipping them direct just-in-time. We can also offer plug and play solutions or can unpack and install at your customers’ locations on your behalf.
