Avnet AES-CELLIOT-AVT9152MOD combines all three LTE-M (Cat M1)/NB-IoT (Cat NB), GPS and BLE wireless technologies into a module targeting broad range of IoT applications globally where low power and small size matters. This module uses industry-leading low power devices from Nordic Semiconductor, the nRF9160 LTE-M/NB-IoT and nRF52840 BT5.0.

Completing an IoT design now, can be as simple as connecting a power source like battery, sensors and antenna to the module. The two powerful application processors in the module along with the rich peripherals made available, give you the maximum versatility to go after the IoT market today.

AES-CELLIOT-AVT9152KIT is a handy evaluation kit from Avnet that provides end-to-end device to cloud connection platform. Developer who are eager to get their development going can try out this feature rich evaluation kit created based on AVT9152 module.

This evaluation kit incorporated the MS4 Series AmbiMate sensor module from TE Connectivity that offers temperature, relative humidity, motion and ambient light sensors. Other sensors like pressure, accelerometer, and gyroscope are available on the board too. This serves as an enabling platform for IoT applications development with ease of cloud connection provided by the accompanied SDK.

Complete antenna consideration has been catered through the on-board antenna for BLE; SMA or µ.FL connectors for LTE-M/NB-IoT antenna and the µ.FL connector for passive or active GPS antenna.

Developer has the extra flexibility to customize their applications, be it addition of sensors, security IC or user interfaces using the Arduino Interface in the evaluation kit in addition to the AmbiMate sensor module variants.

Actual power source like external DC or Lithium battery can be used to power the evaluation kit. The evaluation kit comes complete with universal DC power adapter, LTE-M/NB-IoT and GPS antenna.
