There are more and more applications requiring more precise proximity detection, object detection, presence detection and distance measurement. This has in turn increased the demand for better Time-of-Flight sensors. Together with its partners, Avnet brings you a true direct low power ToF sensor system that uses highly sensitive SPAD detection to measure distances accurately at very high speed. A sub-nanosecond light pulse also provides highly exact depth detection. 

Accurate distance measurement from multiple objects is further enhanced by the on-chip histogram processing which cancels out any effect of the cover glass while the on-chip sunlight rejection filter also minimizes background light noise. All distance information can be easily seen on the OLED display. And all algorithms are included on-chip in a single modular package, the smallest in the industry, making system designs fast and simple.
