Bourns 2033 Series Stacked Gas Discharge Tube

The Bourns 2033 series is a multi-chambered GDT designed for use in 48 V DC powered applications where the GDT must reset under follow-on current conditions. The multi-chamber stacked design creates a GDT with a total arc-voltage that exceeds the typical peak DC voltages of 48 V systems which assures reset after a triggering event.

The 2033 series offers a robust current handling capability of 20 kA on an 8/20 μs current wave form as well as 4 kA on a 10/350 μs, making it ideal for Remote Radio Unit (RRU) applications with high exposure to lightning.

In support of automated assembly, the series features a top plate which allows for easy pick and place. Packaging options include bulk as well as tape and reel.
