IoT Readiness Workshops

Imagine the impact you could have if you could have the insights to take your Internet-of-Things (IoT) project out of proof-of-concept (PoC) purgatory to product roadmap in 14 hours?

This is possible thanks to Avnet’s IoT readiness workshops, where you will be able to accomplish this and much more. The workshop is a practical, step-by-step guide to how to bring your IoT initiative from idea to an action plan—in just 2 days.

Are you ready?

IoT is driving the digital transformation of your industry and your customers, whether it’s being deployed to improve operational effectiveness, re-invent new customer experiences and developing new business models and revenue streams. Avnet understands how to turn the complexity of your IoT project into an actionable, outcome-focused, ROI-producing initiative.

After attending our two-day workshop ($1,995), you’ll not only be able to talk the talk, with a foundational understanding of IoT from both a technical and business perspective, but you’ll also be equipped to walk the walk, so you know how ready your company is to implement IoT.

The purpose of the workshop is to help you identify, plan, implement and assess the outcome of your very first IoT project. If you have already begun your IoT project, you will benefit from the insights and guidance on successfully getting your IoT project to the finish line.

How does the Workshop work?

This workshop provides you with a combination of acumen, checklists, questions, guidance and helpful discussions to help take your IoT project from idea to reality. As you participate and engage in the workshop, you will be able to articulate your IoT opportunity, assess your readiness for taking on the IoT project, create a plan for implementation and have the insights to direct towards a successful business outcome.

By the end of the workshops, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand how to build a great outcomes-based IoT-enabled offering;
  • Articulate the benefits and outcomes IoT brings to you and your customers;
  • Learn to identify, develop and secure C-suite sponsors and a coalition of key decision-makers and influencers for the IoT initiative;
  • Have the right framework to bring organizational alignment and consensus between operational, technical and line-of-business (LOB) influencers and decision-makers at all levels;
  • Conduct a self-assessment on your organization or your customer’s IoT readiness to undertake the IoT journey;
  • Understand the value an ecosystem partner like Avnet can bring to the IoT marketplace and to your IoT initiative.
