Networking & Connectivity

At the heart of a smart home is the gateway that interconnects all of the devices within it - smart thermostats, smart lighting, security surveillance - and enables the home owner to monitor and control the capabilities enabled by these devices. To interface with a wide range of end devices, the gateway supports many different protocols and connectivity options including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), 2.4GHz radio, WiFi, and protocols such as Thread for mesh networking.
