BD71847AMWV - How to Power the NXP i.MX 8M Mini Processor Family Efficiently
18 Sep 2019 - 18 Sep 2019
Avnet Silica and ROHM Seminconductor invite you to join our free-of-charge webinar about the BD71847AMWV is a fully integrated Power Management IC and how it can be used to power the i.MX 8M Mini processor family from NXP.
This webinar will first talk about the challenges engineers face while developing power supplies for SoCs. We will approach the PMIC from a general perspective and then dive deep into the buck regulators and requested BOM. After having a look onto the layout of the PMIC and its requested external components, we will have a look at the buck performance as well as timing results necessary to power-up and down the NXP processor safely.
You will get to learn about BD71847, including general product overview and addressable application, detailed product content, BOM including advantages, layout proposal and qualification results.
The BD71847AMWV is a fully integrated Power Management IC (PMIC) powering all single- , dual- and quad-core derivatives of the NXP i.MX8 Mini including commonly used peripherals. The PMIC integrates all required power rails, SoC handshake line interface, pre-configured and programmable sequencer as well as further functions to design feature rich applications at short development times and lowest BOM cost.
