Avnet Silica partnered with ARM® mbed™, the IoT Device Platform, and developed Avnet Silica’s ST Sensor Node Board for smart sensing and cloud applications. This ARM mbed Enabled™ solution supports mbed OS 5, in combination with processing, sensing and connectivity products from STMicroelectronics like the STM32 ARM Cortex-M4 ultra-low-power microcontroller operating by USB power or through battery with Qi 1.0 wireless charging.

This Sensor Node board facilitates and speeds up development of smart sensor applications, providing several connectivity options, including Bluetooth Smart and sub-GHz 6LoWPAN. Besides mbed OS, the board also supports the STM32Cube ecosystem. Software demos and libraries are both provided for mbed OS and STM32Cube.
