The S3 Series of Renesas Synergy™ Microcontrollers delivers extremely efficient embedded system control. This high efficiency MCU series is built on an ultra-low power silicon process and fueled by the processing power of the ARM® Cortex®-M4 CPU core with a Floating Point Unit.
The new S3A1 MCU group of products provide up to 1 MB code flash, 192 K SRAM with segment LCD controllers, capacitive touch unit and a host of analog and security features to realize a variety of embedded systems & IoT designs. The S3A1 MCUs are feature, pin and IP compatible with other Synergy MCU groups offering unparalleled scalability, and code reuse to accelerate hardware and software development. The S3A1 MCUs are available in many different memory densities and package/pin footprints.

Getting started with the new S3A1 MCU group and SSP v1.4.0 is easy and inexpensive.
