Miromico is an innovative high-tech company, focusing on design services in the areas of integrated circuits, electronic systems and software. It has many years of technology experience in the field of RF communication and in particular the Internet-of-Things (IoT). As an IoT hardware provider, Miromico  supplies its customers state-of-the-art LoRaWAN® communication modules as well as ready-to-use LPWAN sensors and gateways that are at the leading edge of technology. The LoRa® FMLR RF modules enable wireless connectivity to almost any low-datarate device, system or sensor over a distance of more than 50 km. Power consumption of FMLR-based sensor nodes can be optimized to the single digit microampere region, allowing them to run for years from a small battery. Learn more at miromico.com.

FMLR LoRaWAN® Module Portfolio powered by Miromico

LoRa® Module Based on Renesas Synergy™ Platform

FMLR-61-x-RSS3 - LoRa® Module Based on Renesas Synergy™ Platform

The FMLR-61-x-RSS3 module employs the S3A6 MCU with integrated 48 MHz Arm® Cortex®- M4 core, and features 256 KB code flash memory, 8 KB data flash, and 32 KB SRAM, which is enough memory to allow engineers to develop their own applications. The S3A6 is part of a large Renesas Synergy MCU portfolio, making it easy to scale up to more functionality or scale down for cost optimization. The Renesas Synergy Platform features the Synergy Software Package (SSP), which comprises a large selection of production-grade software. This unique and powerful combination of hardware and software helps customers significantly accelerate their product development schedule. In order to debug your own code on the module, you can buy a FMLR Evaluation Kit and download the firmware from Gitlab.

Evaluation Kit for the Renesas LoRa® Module

The Renesas FMLR Development Board provided in the evaluation kit enables users to develop their own FMLR firmware on a ready to use, presoldered Renesas LoRa module. It additionally includes an optimized antenna for both EU868 and US915 frequencies. Compiled Hex files can be programmed using the on-board bootloader. For further development and debugging, a J-Link EDU mini is included in the kit. The source code can be downloaded from Gitlab and a detailed quickstart guide for the development board can be found on its portfolio

STM based LoRa® Module

Miromico's STM based LoRa® Module

The STM-based LoRa® FMLR-72-x-STL0z-(4M) modules feature a Semtech SX1272 radio chip to enable wireless communication over long distance. Power consumption is optimized to run from a small battery, while the integrated wake on radio (WoR) allows the system to operate in a duty-cycled manner. The optionally-integrated ARM Cortex-M0 32-bit microcontroller runs the entire RF stack and has sufficient resources available for the integration of additional applications. The system can easily be extended with additional low power sensors on the external carrier board to build out-of-the-box IoT sensor networks. In order to debug your own code on the module, you can buy a FMLR evaluation kit and download the firmware from Gitlab.

LoRaWAN® Pico Gateway mPCI Card

Miromico's LoRaWAN® Pico Gatway mPCI Card

The FMLR-PGWC mPCIe LoRaWAN® Gateway Card provides a plug-and-play solution for long-range and low-power wireless communication networks based on the LoRaWAN® standard. The mini PCIe form factor card uses an USB 2.0 serial link (CDC) to communicate with a host processor. The card is based on Semtech’s SX1301 / SX1308 chipset. It enables to build high-performance and certified LoRaWAN® gateway solutions.

FMLR Picocell Gateway

Miromico's FMLR Picocell Gateway

The FMLR-PICOGW PicoCell Indoor Gateways are a product family of affordable, LoRaWAN® compatible Gateways. The small form-factor, integrated interfaces like Ethernet, WIFI, mini PCI-E and its underlying LinuxOS makes it easy to integrate these gateways easily into any infrastructure. The Gateway can be easily configured to communicate with any LoRaWAN® compatible cloud service.

FMLR IoT Button

FMLR IoT Button - top side of the product

The FMLR IOT BUTTON enables wireless connectivity to a LoRaWAN®-based gateway over a distance of more than 15km with line of sight. The device’s power consumption is highly optimized to run from small-sized batteries, while the integrated switch functionality allows the system to operate in a deep sleep mode. The IoT button can be used as a service-on-demand button, remote control, emergency or notification button. The button’s functionality can be extended using the multi-button mode. The device consists of four single buttons (top – bottom – left – right) and is configured over the air. It can also be programmed to operate as a single button device. The IoT button has a fully-integrated antenna that allows excellent wireless connectivity through walls and floors. The batteries are exchangeable and allow years of lifetime. The simplicity of the enclosure is highly optimized for low-cost mass manufacturing and can easily be mounted on walls.
