  • April 2008: EBV is facing-up to the challenge of global climate change and raises awareness of the subject amongst customers, employees, suppliers, business partners and the general public.
  • April 2008: 'By Bike to EBV': For each kilometre covered by employees on the way to the office, EBV donates € 0.15 (0.25 during Winter) to 'Rettet den Regenwald e.V‘.
  • April 2008: Encouragement of the nature organisation 'Bund Naturschutz e.V.' for its purchase of 6.000 sqm protected land on the banks of the Danube.
  • April 2008: “The Quintessence” of Ecodesign presents the subject of energy efficiency.
  • October 2008: The EBV White Paper offers an extensive overview about how EBV addresses the concerns of our customers, suppliers, business partners and employees.
  • October 2008: EBV delivers presentations providing customers with the information about the EuP-Directive & it’s challenges.
  • February 2009: EBV is the first in EMEA to launch seminar series about the EuP-Directive. It provides customers clear guidance about current and future requirements to manufacturers of electronic devices and components.
  • April 2009: Article series about EuP-Directives including video on EBVtv.
  • April 2009: “The Quintessence” of Renewable Energies presents the subject Renewable Energies.
  • April 2009: On Earth Day, EBV does a special “By Bike to EBV” event and donates € 4 for every kilometer cycled on bikes in the headquarters to a climate protection project.
  • June 2009: All Publications are printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certificated Paper.
  • July 2009: EBV arranged with the district of Ebersberg (location of the headquarters) an extensive environmental protection sponsorship for the local climate protection project ‘Katzenreuther Filze’.
  • September 2009: EBV launches vertical sales segment 'Renewable Energies' to support customers in the 'green industry‘.
  • October 2009: Büro + Umwelt Certificate Baum (Bundesdeutscher Arbeitskreis für Umweltbewusstes Management).
  • October 2009: Strategic Alliance with ‘Climate Partner’ for all EBV Print Publications.
  • December 2009: EBV releases its ECOmise it Report which demonstrates EBV’s environmental activities in FY 09 and goals FY10.
  • January 2010: EBV delivers all of its mail carbon-neutral with the logistics company “Deutsche Post/DHL”.
  • On January 1, 2010, both EBV Headquarters at Poing and three further sales offices across Germany switched to green electricity providers.
  • April 2010: EBV offers its customers the possibility of changing to paperless invoicing.
  • August 2010: EBV Elektronik has been honored for its participation in the Environmental Pact of Bavaria.
  • January 2011: EBV was awarded by the Bavarian State Minister, Dr. Markus Söder, for its participation in the Bavarian Environmental Pact in the area of "Sustainable Growth with Environmental and Climate Protection„
  • March 2011: EBV joins „München für Klimaschutz“ an initiative to develop and boost the Munich climate protection network.
  • September 2011: EBV provides employees with two top-of-the-line e-Bikes rentals by PG-Bikes made in Regensburg (Germany).
  • October 2011: EBV starts the biggest reforestation in the history of Spain. 7,500 indigenous trees, threatened by extinction, were planted in a natural reserve in Punta Umbria, Andalusia.
  • November 2011: For the commitment of encouraging bicycle usage by the employees, EBV received in the second consecutive year a recognition from 'B.A.U.M. e.V.‘
  • March 2012: EBV places a Mercedes Benz E-Car at the disposal of the staff of the Poing local authority to test and support alternative driving technologies.
  • July 2012: Outstanding Achievements – EBV Elektronik was Awarded By the Major of Munich for its Strong Commitment to Climate Protection
  • September 2012: EBV signs a long-term agreement to work with the Bavarian State Ministry for Health and the Enivronment in furthering a conservation project on the Halfinger moor protected area. This initiative allows EBV to compensate for a large proportion of its carbon dioxide emissions.
  • April 2013: EBV donates three pedelecs to Munich Town Hall.
  • May 2013:  Purchase of two petrol-saving cars and implementation of corporate car sharing system “AlphaCity” at EBV Headquarter for all employees.
  • September 2013: EBV supports the Oktoberfest within the “Climate Friendly ‘Wiesn’” project with Retrofit LEDs; the target is to lower electricity consumption and to reduce the CO2 emissions of the Munich state area.
  • October 2013: EBV is awarded the first official certificate from the Free State of Bavaria for carbon dioxide reduction in Bavaria through the renaturation of the Halfinger Freimoos moorland.
  • October 2013: EBV introduces Flinc, a corporate car-sharing pool in EBV Headquarters.
  • January 2014: EBV Received the “Golden Award” from the Mayor of Munich for its Strong Commitment to Climate Protection.
  • June 2014: EBV Elektronik supports street lighting project in Inzell, based on low consumption, life-span and great luminous LEDs.
  • September 2014: EBV participates on the WAVE (World Advanced Vehicle Expedition), the world's largest electrical vehicle rally.
  • May 2015: Purchase of two electric company cars and a charging station at EBV Headquarter for the use of all employees.
