APAC COVID-19 update

March 19, 2020

To protect the health and safety of our employees, Avnet Asia employees have been working from home during the critical period post Lunar New Year, and are currently on split shift working arrangement until further notice. Our offices continue to remain open for business. We have technically enabled our teams across Asia Pacific to provide the same service to you as usual. Our logistics centres also remain open and have moved to a separated-shift model to minimize interaction between larger groups of employees and to ensure our capability to continue shipping.

As an additional social distancing measure, we have encouraged employees to make use of video conferencing technology to conduct meetings remotely. All external events have also been cancelled during this period to help contain the outbreak.

We will communicate with you on an individual basis to determine the exact situation with your orders and shipments. As of March 19, our assessment is that the general supply chain situation is improving rapidly in Asia, the main production hub for our products and manufacturers. There may be a selective significant impact, which we will share with you as soon as our manufacturers provide the details.

Our actions are aligned with recommendations or instructions from governments. We strive to balance employee safety with business continuity in the most sensible way and hope you understand our decision process. While this is a challenging time, we will keep our full attention on your requirements.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Avnet Sales representative to discuss further.
