Yageo Corporation, the global leader of electronic components, released the new universal PCB Antenna for LTE full band, IoT, WiFi, ISM and GNSS
applications.
Wireless product applications are various, no matter whether if based on working frequency or form factor. A universal antenna is proposed for multi-band operations, as it only occupies a very small area of 90mm x 20mm, and this is about the smallest for a PCB antenna capable of ultra-wide band operations ranging from lower frequency of 698MHz to higher frequencies up to 6GHz.
Furthermore, universal antennas present good radiation characteristics providing a stable gain variation through the full operational band. Thanks to the small size and ultra-wide band characteristics, only one universal antenna is required to cover all working frequencies in a limited space.
Yageo’s universal antenna can bring customer benefits since they don’t have to manage different frequency stocks, reducing design time and efforts in inventory management, also cost saving.
