Bourns CRK Series Metal Strip Current Sense Resistors

Bourns is pleased to announce the introduction of its new CRK Series Metal Strip Current Sense Resistors. This new surface mount series helps strengthen the already broad range of surface mount chip resistors offered by Bourns.

Bourns® CRK Series Current Sense Resistors feature a robust metal strip resistive element which provides a TCR (Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) as low as 50 ppm/°C and a very broad operating temperature range up to 170°C. This series is available in 0612 (1632 Metric) and 0815 (2038 Metric) sizes with a power rating of 1 watt.

The wide terminal shape of the Model CRK Series helps to provide improved heat dissipation and higher reliability due to larger terminations and solder joint surfaces. The metal resistive element of these current sense resistors results in very low inductance, low noise and excellent reliability. Available with low resistance values (down to 1 milliohm), the Model CRK Series is ideal for current sensing in consumer and telecommunication electronics and industrial automation applications.
