LinkSwitch™-XT2 switcher IC

The accuracy, small size, efficiency and less than 10 mW no-load performance of LinkSwitch™-XT2 ICs are a perfect combination for small appliances, IoT applications, utility meters, industrial and smart home installations.

LinkSwitch-XT2 off-line, low power converter ICs target isolated and non-isolated flyback applications where accurate regulation of output voltage and current are important. The new ICs deliver up to 6.1 watts in wide-input designs, and up to 9.2 W for 230 VAC open-frame applications.

LinkSwitch™-XT2 incorporates a 725 V power MOSFET, oscillator, simple ON/OFF control scheme, a high-voltage switched current source, frequency jittering, cycle-by-cycle current limit and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic IC. The start-up and operating power are derived directly from the DRAIN pin, eliminating the need for a bias winding and associated circuitry.
