Cannon and VEAM blue generation™ plating

ITT’s Blue Generation™ Plating is a ruggedized RoHS compliant, conductive plating, tested up to 500-hour of salt spray resistance. 

Due to robust configurations, aluminum connectors are often used in harsh environment applications but maybe subject to corrosion. In order to avoid damaging the connector and staying within the respected RoHS requirements, the ITT Cannon and VEAM team developed a non-cadmium, zinc-nickel alternative suitable for use on a wide range of ITT interconnects.
