Understanding the power of working together, we partner with suppliers, customers and vendors to maximise our impact in the community. We also back up that commitment with financial support by investing in programs and projects in our communities targeted at improving technology education, promoting energy conservation and helping underserved groups gain skills and obtain employment opportunities.
Avnet’s employee volunteering and charitable giving program, Avnet Cares, is one of our most successful corporate social responsibility programs, operating in more than 20 countries to support a broad range of nonprofit organisations.

And how we tailor a global commitment and culture of hands-on volunteerism to meet the needs of local communities from the Americas and Europe to the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Global month of service
Since 2015, each October, thousands of Avnet employees from around the world have mobilised for a coordinated month of volunteering in action. From running to support cancer research in Italy and cleaning up parks in Colorado, to working in a Singapore soup kitchen, Avnet’s October service activities have spanned the globe. And that’s just a small sample. In October 2016, our employees organized and participated in 70 events in 14 different countries.
