Video Encoders/Decoders

A video decoder is an integrated circuit which converts base-band analog video signals to digital components video. It allows programmable control over video characteristics like hue, contrast, and saturation. The video encoder performs the inverse function of a video decoder; it converts raw (uncompressed) digital video to analog video.
