Hot Swap Controllers

A Hot swap controller IC is a power management controller used to control inrush current in some of the schemes. In applications where a line card needs to be inserted into a live backplane hot swap controller will prevent damage and operational faults. Hot Swap controller utilizes N-channel MOSFETs to control power flow, which allows a wide range of load currents.
