Flash Memory Cards

Electronic flash memory data storage devices are used for storing digital information. Flash memory cards vary in capacity, speed, interface, physical size and by types. These are commonly used in portable electronic devices, such as digital cameras, mobile phones, laptop computers, tablets, PDAs, portable media players, video game consoles, synthesizers, electronic keyboards, and digital pianos. Flash memory is non-volatile storage/IE storage that can retain information without electricity, but which can electrically erased and programmed. Computing systems use flash memory as non-volatile storage for the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) and the instructions that start the computer which is the bootstrap loader.
