An Inductor is a passive two terminal component which resists change in electric current passing through it. An inductor is capable of storing electrical energy in the form of magnetic energy. The leaded inductors come with leads which can be stuck into a breadboard or hand-soldered into a prototyping board or printed circuit board (PCB).
