Voltage References

A voltage reference is an electronic device ideally produces a constant voltage irrespective of the loading on the device, the passage of time, power supply variations and the temperature changes. It is available in series and shunt topology design. Series voltage references operate in a manner that is functionally equivalent to a 3 terminal regulator and Shunt voltage references operate in a manner that is functionally equivalent to a Zener diode.
