Avnet Selects IT Industry Executive Steve Kedzior to Drive Services Offerings
Tempe, Ariz. -- Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), announced that Steve Kedzior has joined its Americas' leadership team as vice president and general manager of services. In this newly created position, Kedzior will draw upon his more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry to lead the design and implementation of Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas' services strategy. He will report to Jeff Bawol, president, Avnet Technology Solutions, Americas.

Kedzior and his team will work closely with Avnet's North American and Latin America and the Caribbean value added reseller (VAR) partners to help them develop data center solutions for increasingly converged environments by leveraging a vast array of services available through Avnet's SolutionsPath® Services portfolio. These offerings give partners specific capabilities to meet end customers' business needs, while also benefitting from the revenue growth and higher margin potential that services can provide. SolutionsPath Services directly support the sale and delivery of data center solutions developed within Avnet's SolutionsPath data center technology practices, NetworkPath™, SecurePath™, StoragePath™ and VirtualPath®, and vertical market practices, GovPath® and HealthPath®.

Most recently, Kedzior served at Insight Enterprises, a provider of IT products and services, where he built and managed their technology practices, which include data center, networking, cloud computing, enterprise software and lifecycle services. He spent the past five years leading his team to high-growth results and profitability while substantially reducing expenses. Prior to Insight, Kedzior held similar roles with Keane, Inc., an international software services company, as well as several US-based resellers.
